About this activity
Join us on a half-day adventure that combines nature, history, and relaxation. We’ll begin with a guided hike through a beautiful limestone gorge, often described as a “miniature Grand Canyon” thanks to its towering cliffs, striking rock formations, and Mediterranean vegetation. Along the trail, your guide will share fascinating insights into the area’s unique geology, flora, and fauna.
The journey continues with a visit to an ancient Roman sulfur bath, hidden away in the Andalusian countryside. This archaeological treasure has been valued for centuries for its therapeutic qualities. Your tour includes entrance to the site, where you can immerse yourself in the mineral-rich waters and even enjoy a natural mud bath, known for its high sulfur content, which is believed to be excellent for the skin and overall wellbeing.
Because the gorge is a protected natural area and home to nesting birds, this tour is only available between July and November. To make the experience smooth and enjoyable, we provide transport from the meeting point to the start of the hike. The trail is designed as a one-way route, so you can simply relax and enjoy the journey without having to walk back.
This unique combination of hiking, history, and wellness makes for an unforgettable day out in the heart of Andalusia.
A minimum of 6 persons is required for this activity to proceed, or you can request a private tour.
