Frequently asked questions
-
What is the minimum age requirement for participants? We maintain a minimum age of 8 years old for participants, as younger children may find the activity challenging and have difficulties with keeping up with the speed of the group. While we generally adhere to this age guideline, we recognize some younger children might be well-equipped for the experience. If your child can confidently traverse rocky terrains and swim independently, even if slightly below our age recommendation, please reach out to us via WhatsApp or email. We're open to considering exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
-
Are there any medical conditions that would prevent me from participating?Participants must be mobile and able to manoeuvre themselves through rocky areas while using their hands and feet. Besides this, participants need to be able to swim independently. It is important to inform us prior to the activity of any relevant medical conditions that might affect the tour. Please note that participating in our tours is always at your own risk.
-
Why are you cheaper than other tour agencies? There is no major difference between our tours and the tours of other tour agencies. We provide the same safety equipment and follow exactly the same route in the canyon. We can keep our prices low because we work efficiently. This helps us to keep costs low and pass the savings on to our customers.
-
What should I wear for canyoning? It's best to wear swimwear or sportswear for the activity. During cooler months, our guide may offer a wetsuit to wear over your attire. While we recommend wearing your own trainers, we also provide water shoes at no extra cost. All other essential equipment for the hike will be provided by us.
-
Do you use wetsuits? We offer wetsuits to our clients year-round. During the high season, wearing a wetsuit is not necessary due to the consistently warm water temperatures, and clients can choose whether or not to wear one. However, in the cooler months between October and June, we continue to provide wetsuits for our participants. We recommend following the guide's advice on whether or not to wear one, based on daily weather conditions and the time of year.
-
Is there free parking available at the meeting point? The meeting point is at a spacious, public parking space nearby the canyon. Please be aware that the area is unguarded, so it's advisable not to leave any valuables in sight in your vehicle. For added security, the guide can carry your car keys in a waterproof tube during the tour.
-
Can I book for a big group? There is space for a maximum of 15 people per tour. However, if you are with a larger group, you can always contact us for the possibilities so we can see if we can arrange a special tour with two guides to be able to accommodate a larger group.
-
Do you offer group discounts?Unfortunately, we do not offer group discounts as our costs rise with increasing group size. However, it's worth noting that our prices are the most competitive among all tour agencies operating in the same canyon.
-
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?In case of adverse weather conditions on the day of the activity, we might have to cancel the tour due to safety reasons. However, you will be fully refunded and we will make every effort to reschedule, so that you may still have the opportunity to enjoy the experience.

There are only a few colder and rainy weeks where we don't do tours. In the cooler months, we provide full-body wetsuits to ensure your comfort and warmth during the tours. Additionally, we try to only schedule tours when the weather is expected to be favorable. The weather is always unpredictable, and if it turns out that the weather on the day of your scheduled tour is not pleasant enough for the tour to take place, we will make every effort to reschedule. If the new option doesn't suit you, we will cancel the tour and you will receive a full refund.
